Ways to Invest

There are many ways to invest your money. Before you invest, think about these factors:

  • Safety – how risky is it?
  • Liquidity – can you easily get your money out of the investment?
  • Return on the investment – what's your earning potential?

Read about each investment in this section. Then take a look at the Risk/Reward Pyramid to compare the risks and rewards of different types of investments. Generally speaking, the more you may be able to earn, the more risk you take. You may earn, but there are no guarantees.

Keep a money diary that tracks what you save and spend. It will tell you about when, why, and how you use money.
